Product Owner, Klario
Be the engine room of Klario, our AI-powered SAP change platform. Turn strategy into a sharp, prioritised backlog and keep delivery flowing so the team ships the right things, quickly.
Location: hybrid (2 days a week) in our Budapest office.
The Opportunity
A new product only wins if it can learn and ship faster than the market moves. Klario is our AI-powered, cloud-based intelligent change management platform, and it sits at the centre of the company's growth strategy.
While the Klario Product Managers focus outward on customers, strategy and the market, this role focuses on execution. As Product Owner you are the conduit between Product and Engineering. You will turn strategic priorities and discovery insight into a well-defined, prioritised backlog, keep the delivery engine flowing without ambiguity or rework, and make the day-to-day scope and trade-off decisions that would otherwise stall sprints. With you in place, Klario ships the right things quickly and predictably.
In This Role You Will
Own the product backlog: translate the Product Managers' strategy and priorities into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and keep the backlog prioritised, refined and ready.
Be the conduit between Product and Engineering: bring customer and business context into the team, and delivery constraints and technical insight back to the Product Managers.
Run agile delivery ceremonies from the product side: lead backlog refinement, support sprint planning, and take part in reviews and retrospectives.
Make day-to-day scope decisions: resolve questions, clarify requirements and make fast trade-off calls so engineers are never blocked waiting on Product.
Accept and validate work: verify delivered functionality against acceptance criteria, coordinate testing and UAT where needed, and safeguard the quality of what ships.
Support releases: contribute to release planning, release notes and internal readiness so new capability lands well with customers and internal teams.
Improve how the team works: spot friction in the product-to-engineering flow and continuously improve requirements quality, cadence and communication.
Is This Opportunity For You?
Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or delivery-focused Product Manager in agile software teams.
An enterprise B2B SaaS or cloud software delivery background.
Excellent backlog craft: writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, slicing work effectively and managing competing priorities.
Experience with lean product principles and rapid prototyping, using wireframes or mockups to test and validate solutions before they are committed to the backlog and built.
Enough technical fluency to hold credible conversations with engineers about APIs, integrations and cloud architecture trade-offs (no coding required).
Experience working in a fast-moving or early-stage product environment where requirements evolve quickly.
Strong communication and stakeholder skills across product, engineering and QA.
Desirable
SAP experience. Exposure to the SAP ecosystem would be a real advantage, though not essential. An Agile or Product Owner certification (for example CSPO or PSPO) and experience with AI-powered products are also a plus.
