Talent Acquisition Partner
The Opportunity
At Basis Technologies, we’re always looking to strengthen our organisation by adding top talent to our team. We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner (9-Month Maternity Leave Cover) to support our recruitment efforts and help maintain a high‑performing talent acquisition function during this period.
This role will be responsible for managing our end‑to‑end recruitment processes, partnering with leaders across the business, and continuing to embed best‑practice hiring approaches. It’s an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys both strategic talent work and hands‑on delivery. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the ideal candidate will be in the office at least once a week.
You can expect to:
Lead the full end‑to‑end hiring process for roles across the business, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, shape role requirements, and define the talent profiles that will help their teams thrive.
Partner with hiring managers to craft clear, compelling, and inclusive job descriptions that align with our employer brand and attract high‑quality talent.
Leverage our ATS (Teamtailor) to manage candidate pipelines efficiently, including application review, screening, interview scheduling, and maintaining accurate data.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate criteria, interview best practices, and a consistent hiring experience.
Proactively source and engage talent through channels such as LinkedIn, specialist networks, and targeted communities to ensure a diverse, high‑calibre talent pool.
Use data and insights to identify hiring trends, assess pipeline effectiveness, and recommend innovative strategies to improve talent attraction and conversion.
Work with senior stakeholders to advance diversity hiring initiatives, implementing tools, partnerships, and processes that support inclusive recruitment.
Collaborate with the People team on talent initiatives such as career progression frameworks, ensuring role expectations, competencies, and growth pathways are aligned with hiring needs.
Is this opportunity for you?
To help you establish whether this role is for you, these are the key foundational characteristics you will need to be set up for success:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or a related role, with a strong track record of hiring across a variety of functions.
Solid understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and selection.
Experience hiring technology talent in a fast‑paced, high‑growth and ambiguous environment.
Confident using social platforms, talent databases, and professional networks to engage and attract candidates.
Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage pipelines, maintain data accuracy, and support a smooth hiring process.
Comfortable documenting processes and staying up to date with evolving recruitment trends and best practices.
Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and candidates.
Highly organised and able to balance multiple roles and priorities while meeting deadlines.
Previous in‑house recruitment experience.
Experience supporting global hiring activities.
