The Role

At Basis Technologies, we’re always looking to strengthen the organization by adding top talent to join our team.

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team in Hungary. The ideal candidate is willing to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using UI 5 (Javascript) and other applicable frameworks. Exposure to ABAP and SAP environment is preferred.

In this role you will

• Develop and maintain software applications using UI 5 (Javascript) and other applicable frameworks.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Understand and develop ABAP back-end code (training given if necesary)
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues

• Document software designs, code, and test cases
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Previous experience and skills

• English Proficiency
  
• Strong programming skills in Javascript. Ideally within the UI 5 Framework - or other applicable frameworks
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Exposure to ABAP and SAP environment is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and grow as a software developer
