The Opportunity
At Basis Technologies, we’re always looking to strengthen the organization by adding top talent to join our team. We are currently looking to add the company’s first inhouse recruiter to help develop a world-class talent acquisition strategy and own our end-to end recruitment process. This is a great opportunity for a subject matter expert who loves to roll up their sleeves and support others in adopting best recruitment practices. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the ideal candidate will be in the office minimum once a week. Q1 priorities for the successful candidate will be focused around Sales roles in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a leading end-to-end hiring processes and talent acquisition strategy to ensure a positive experience for candidates
- Build close relationships with hiring managers to ensure expectations for candidates and interviewers are clearly defined
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria, including assisting managers with writing JDs, screening CVs and scheduling interviews using our ATS, Teamtailor
- Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
- Move beyond reactive recruitment by taking a data driven approach– identifying trends and introducing modern and effective ways to attract and engage world-class talent
- Partner with the internal senior stakeholders on diversity hiring with appropriate tools and programmes to attract diverse applications
- Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Five to seven years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Experience recruiting technology professionals in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- In-house recruitment experience
- Global recruitment experience (UK & US experience mandatory)
- Previous involvement in overarching talent acquisition strategy development, engagement and execution
- Stakeholder management
Preferred skills and attributes
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of ATS such as Teamtailor
- Looking to challenge the status quo in the talent acquisition space
